Coming equipped with two 48v/4Ah lithium-ion batteries that drive a 1500w brushless motor producing power-levels equivalent to a 2hp petrol engine, the Stiga Collector 548e S KIT 48v Cordless Lawnmower offers superb cutting-performance, and will breeze through thick, overgrown grass.

The batteries charge in just 180 minutes, and give a combined coverage of 550m2 on that charge.

The Stiga Collector 548e S KIT 48v Cordless Battery Lawnmower is self-propelled via the back wheels, so it’s a perfect candidate for lawns with inclines and sections of bumpy ground and tussocky grass that would be tough to cross with a push-type model.

Stiga’s clever ‘Fulcrum’ foldable handlebar is height-adjustable to suit the user, and laterally adjustable to get you flush alongside walls and fencing; their provision of a ‘bag full’ warning indicator prevents the spacious 60-litre catcher from being overfilled and spilling clippings across the lawn.

To help you deal with changing grass-conditions through the season, Stiga have furnished the Collector 548e S with six preset heights of cut, which are selected using only one lever.

This 48cm model runs at just 82.4dB (A) – that’s around 16dbs less than a comparable petrol-powered machine.
