Its cutting-edge Briggs & Stratton battery pack (available separately) is free of the annoying spontaneous discharge and memory-effect issues associated with conventional lead-acid and ni-cad units, and combines with a high-efficiency brushless motor to deliver over 160 cuts on a single charge.
The ⅜” chain and lengthy 46cm bar on the Snapper SXDCS are from top American manufacturers, Oregon, so you can expect superior cutting capability and stay-sharp durability.
Automatic lubrication keeps things running smoothly and ensures optimum performance is maintained as you work; Snapper’s provision of an onboard chain-tensioning tool means the correct bit of kit is always directly to hand.
To optimise stability, leverage and safety, Snapper have fitted the SXDCS with a series of base-mounted steel gripping teeth.
Its excellent balance and ergonomic handle configuration make it easy to wield for gardeners of any age or build; its vibration-damping rubber grip works to spare the hands from undue stress and strain.
This is a tool-only machine, with the available batteries and charger compatible across all the machines in Snapper’s 82v cordless range.
