Efco DR65-HR11 Professional Flail Mower (Honda Engine)

This ultra-robust and hugely powerful flail mower from Efco is designed for the very large-scale clearance of dense undergrowth from verges, steep slopes, ditch banks and other areas that would be difficult to access with a standard handheld or wheeled brushcutter.

It’s fitted with a 389cc Honda GX340 engine; a commercial-grade unit, which is rated at a muscular 11.7hp.

A cast-iron cylinder sleeve and a dual-element air filter work to maximise engine life; an automatic decompression system ensures starting is fast and hassle-free.

The Efco DR65-HR11 Professional Flail Mower employs a set of 38 ‘Y’-shaped flail blades, which will scythe effortlessly through well-established scrub and brush.

It’s equipped with a heavy-duty cutting unit, which is supported by reinforced bearings and shields, and it features an adjustable height of cut (20-80mm), which is controlled via a lever conveniently positioned on the handlebar.

Thanks to its four-speed (3 + 1) transmission, the Efco DR65-HR11 Pro Flail Mower can be adapted to suit both the type of terrain on which you’re operating, and the nature of the vegetation you’re clearing (the inclusion of a reverse gear makes repositioning easy). The transmission is oil-bathed and housed in a reinforced gear case for exceptional long-term reliability.

Highly manoeuvrable, the Efco DR65-HR11 Flail Mower has a pair of pivoting front wheels, which can be locked into place, in turn enabling you to maintain a precise cutting line on adverse terrain.

The steering handlebar incorporates all the main controls and is adjustable in terms of both height and width for maximum operator comfort.
