This one, the SCH TS98 Heavy-Duty Leaf Sweeper is a similar machine and designed for prolonged, heavy use.

It has a differential on the wheels to enhance turning on tight corners and avoid it skipping and damaging the lawn.

The drive from the wheels to the brushes is via heavy-duty metal gearing and the height is adjustable by a single lever. The collector holds 270 litres.

The cost is £979, a useful reduction on the recommended price of £1099.
