It has a double chain brake and automatic chain lubrication and is suitable for felling smaller trees and general wood cutting.
It weighs just 4.1 kg excluding the bar and chain and again there is a range of extras available when you buy this machine.
It costs £139 compared with the maker’s recommended retail price of £279, has a one year warranty from the manufacturers and is delivered free the next working day.
And finally the Mountfield MC5020 Petrol Chainsaw is an extra-powerful machine with a 50.9 cc engine and a 50 cm guide bar.
With the more powerful engine and longer guide bar it is suitable for felling bigger trees and cutting up the resulting thicker wood. And like the two previous models it has the sprocket nose on the end of the guide bar the ease the chains path and prolong its life.
The automatic chain lubrication is adjustable and the chain bar has a double acting chain brake plus a chain catcher in case it becomes derailed.

This one costs £189 compared with Mountfield’s recommended price of £379, a massive saving.
