It’s driven by a lightweight but seriously powerful 1100w electric motor, which runs far more quietly than a similarly-rated petrol engine, making this model a great choice for those operating in noise-sensitive environments. Furthermore, there’s far less vibration, so user-fatigue is kept at bay for longer.
The STIHL SHE-71 is not just a leaf-blower – with the supplied kit fitted, it becomes a high-performance vacuum shredder that reduces garden waste to 1/12 of its original volume, maximising available space in the easy-to-empty 45-litre collection-bag, and leaving you with a mulch that will prove useful around the garden.
The amount of air moved in blower-mode is 10.25m3/min (615m3/hr); while in vacuum mode it’s 8.91m3/min (535m3/hr).
