The German-designed STIHL HSA 86 Cordless Hedgetrimmer is a practical, convenient and hassle-free alternative to a noisy, dirty and maintenance-heavy petrol-powered machine.
It’s equipped with a set of high-grade 45cm blades, which combine an extra-wide 33cm tooth gap with super-sharp, double-edged teeth and a rapid stroke rate to ensure large-diameter twigs are cut cleanly without being twisted or chewed.
A blade-tip protector prevents damage when working next walls and other hard surfaces; a scabbard prevents moisture damage during storage (a hanging-eye allows it to be wall mounted).
The professional-standard STIHL HSA 86 Cordless Hedgetrimmer is powered by a very high-performance 36v lithium-ion battery that produces a huge 178Wh, and which won’t give you any of the memory effect or self-discharge problems associated with lower-spec battery types (two batteries are included).
A smooth, contoured body ensures it’s easy to keep clean, and won’t get tangled in the hedge; a machine weight of just 3kg means gardeners of any age or build can work safely and in comfort.
