Super-lightweight (4.7kg), yet powerful and solidly built, this top-quality German-engineered hedgetrimmer from STIHL is just as at home in the hands of the exacting home-gardener as it is in those of the landscape professional.
Suitable for use on smaller hedges, the STIHL HS45-18 features a compact 45cm blade that’s double-sided for increased productivity.
The blade is precision-ground, so it will stay sharp for longer, and will deliver a clean cut with no unattractive bruising to the hedge.
Power is supplied by a very high-performance 27.2cc (1hp) two-stroke engine that employs STIHL’s ElastoStart technology for almost effortless pull-starts.
The electronic ignition-module ensures dependable starting and has been fully enclosed in order to protect it from dirt and damp.
The STIHL HS45-18 Petrol Hedgetrimmer features STIHL’s highly effective vibration-damping system, whereby engine and blade oscillations are absorbed by shock-absorbing mounts, in turn sparing the user’s hands and arms for undue strain.
