The STIHL HS87 T-30 Petrol Hedge Cutter has an expansive 30mm tooth pitch, which works with a super-fast 5000rpm stroke rate and an optimised gear ratio to ensure an impressively neat, no-bruise finish, even in thick, woody plants (the blades are single sided and measure lengthy 75cm).

Its high-output 22.7cc 2-MIX air-cooled motor develops a beefy 1hp, and combines a push-button fuel primer with an electronic ignition to make the starting process fast and stress-free. The ignition system is fully enclosed to prevent moisture- and dust-damage.

Vibrations are often a cause for concern amongst power tool operators, as long-term use of an inferior machine can cause blood vessel damage. This model has an effective anti-vibration system, which dampens the oscillations from the engine for long hours of low-fatigue hedgetrimming.
