In order ensure starting is as reliable and stress-free as possible, STIHL have equipped its high-performance 1.1hp (27.2cc) engine with their sought-after ErgoStart system, which lessens the pulling-force required to achieve ignition by an impressive 20-percent.
The pre-ignition process couldn’t simpler: set the amount of choke; pump some fuel to the carburettor; and you’re ready for that gentle pull on the starter-rope.
Thanks to its compact ‘loop’ handle, the STIHL FS56 RC-E Lightweight Brushcutter is perfect for use in areas where space is at a premium. Its optimised centre-of-gravity, low-weight design (4.8kg) and shoulder-harness all work to ensure you’ll be able to complete the task in comfort.
The AutoCut Tap & Go trimmer-head that comes with this model is ideal for edging and post-mowing tidying, but should you need to tackle thicker growth, you can purchase the optional brush-blade.
