These newly developed power-units combine the best of two- and four-stroke technology, resulting in an engine which offers superior fuel-efficiency; reduced emissions; more power at lower revs; and faster acceleration. STIHL’s decompression system serves to reduce the puling-force that’s required to get the engine started. The STIHL BR500 Backpack Leaf-Blower has an ergonomic backpack support that’s padded at the points where it contacts the operator’s body. A series of anti-vibration mounts ensure minimal vibration is transferred from the engine, so time-consuming applications can be completed in comfort. All the main controls are conveniently grouped on the handle; and both filler caps (fuel and oil) can be accessed without using tools.
