Description

SCH make quality, robust, long-lasting attachments for agricultural and outdoor leisure purposes. Bought by discerning large-scale homeowners, leisure faculty managers, farmers, small holding owners and professional gardeners. British designed and made they are a mark of quality and are built to do the job with no fuss.

This sorrel roller is a fine example of SCH’s craft. A sorrel roller uses shorter tines or spikes (168 on this roller) to break up compacted soil and start the process of allowing nutrients and water back into the soil.

This is ideal, for example, in areas where the soil has become very compressed, perhaps by livestock, sports players or horses.

The sorrel roller is also useful where a crust has formed. This can happen due to rain impact, for example, and prevents water ingress and can result in poor growing conditions. The sorrel roller will break up the crust and allow the ground to breathe.

This model is very useful where you have tractor access and with a working width of 91.5 centimetres, ensures excellent coverage of large areas.

The spiked roller is accompanied by a smooth roller, this follows the spiked version, ironing out humps and bumps and smoothing over the worked area. It also adds weight and penetration to the spiked roller and when used the manual handle (included with each 3SSR36) must be used.

The frame has a category 1 three point linkage mounting as standard however, a category 2 mounting is available on request.
