Powering its compact and easy to manage 41cm guide bar – with .325” Microlite chain – is a super-efficient Emak two-stroke air-cooled engine, which develops a muscular 2.6hp from a cylinder capacity of just 39cc.

Key engine features include an Air Purge system, which ensures reliable starting from cold; and EasyOn technology, which minimises resistance in the recoil mechanism to lessen the pulling-power needed to achieve ignition.

In order to dissipate heat caused by friction and thus extend the useful life of the bar and chain, Oleo-Mac have equipped the GS-411-325 with an automatic oil pump, the flow rate of which can be adjusted to suit both the ambient temperature, and the hardness and density of the wood-type you’re working with. A translucent oil tank makes it easy to keep an eye on the fill level (the fuel tank is also translucent).

A combination of rubber stops and spring dampers works to limit tiring vibration transfer from the engine to the user’s hands and arms; no-tools component access makes routine maintenance fast and hassle-free.
