Oleo-Mac BCH-500T Petrol Brushcutter

From Oleo-Mac’s H-Series range of intensive-use brushcutters, this high-performance petrol machine advantageously combines simplicity of operation with exceptional efficiency and an unfailingly high and consistent work rate.

Supplying the power is a large-displacement 50.9cc Emak two-stroke EasyStart motor that develops an impressive 2.8hp, and which is capable of handling regular periods of continuous heavy-duty use, thanks to its two-ring piston, die-cast nickel-plated cylinder and forged con rod/crankshaft.

Oleo-Mac’s convenient Always-On system ensures the ‘on/off’ switch always resets to ‘on’ after each stop; a premium electronically controlled digital coil (with rev limiter) makes starting easy, and provides uniform combustion for improved fuel economy.

Further high-specification engine features include an aluminium cover and clutch housing, which minimise machine weight without compromising on durability; and a generously proportioned paper air filter, which provides optimum protection against the ingress of damaging, service-life-limiting dust and debris.

The Oleo-Mac BCH-500T Petrol Brushcutter comes as standard with a 13cm twin-line cutter head and a 25.5cm three-tooth metal blade, so it’s just as at home tidying lawn edges and fence lines as it is clearing large areas of bramble and nettles (the cutting cord diameter is an extra-thick 3mm).

Also key on the BCH-500T is its ‘bike’ (or ‘cowhorn') handlebar, which is the professionals' choice, due to the natural lateral sweeping action they allow.

This model comes with a comfort-cushioned double shoulder harness, which works to keep fatigue at bay throughout lengthy landscaping sessions.
