Description
This class-leading petrol tiller from MTD-Lawnflite is built to exacting specifications and will prove an invaluable buy for the kitchen-garden enthusiast or allotment keeper.
It’s powered by an MTD Thorx-45 engine; a high-performance 139cc four-stroke unit that uses an overhead-valve cylinder layout, which works to ensure sound output, fuel costs and harmful exhaust emissions are all kept to their lowest possible levels. In order to maximise engine life, MTD have fitted a dual-element air filter and a cast-iron crankshaft.
The MTD T205 Garden Tiller employs a worm-drive transmission; a premium feature that works to optimise torque transfer for superior tilling-performance no matter what the soil conditions.
The four ‘Slasher’-tine rotors on the MTD T205 give a compact 40cm tilling-width, which is perfect for inter-row work, and ideal if you’re maintaining narrow borders or areas with awkward corners.
A foldable handlebar makes the tiller easy to store; the provision of a front transport wheel means you’ll have no trouble moving it to and from the plot.
