Not just a 'cut & collect' machine, the versatile Mountfield SP42 Petrol Lawnmower can also be set-up to mulch - instead of being bagged, cut grass is retained under the cutter deck, where it’s reduced to a fine mulch that will quickly rot and vanish, leaving your lawn clippings-free and naturally nourished.

The Mountfield SP42’s compact 41cm cut and power-driven rear wheels blend to make it great match for smaller areas with inclines and areas of rough, tussocky ground.

It features ‘collector full’ indication, so it’s unlikely you’ll overfill and block the discharge-chute; and it’s supplied with a roomiest-in-class 60-litre grassbag that’s made from breathable canvas to maximise catcher capacity.
