With its telescopic shaft giving a reach of around 4.3m at full extension, the practical and convenient Mountfield MPH 50 Li will enable you to trim and shape the sides and tops of high hedges without adopting an awkward, tiring body position, and without having to resort to using potentially dangerous stepladders.
Combining a beefy 350w electric motor with a high-output 48v lithium-ion battery pack*, this cutting-edge long-reach cordless hedgetrimmer offers the sort of performance you’d expect from a petrol-driven model, but won’t burden you with the maintenance issues, ignition problems and noxious exhaust emissions that come with that increasingly obsolete power source.
The Mountfield MPH 50 Li Cordless Long-Reach Hedgetrimmer is supplied with a clean-cutting dual-action blade set that can be angle-adjusted through 112° to suit the particular task in hand.
Mountfield’s use of carbon fibre in the construction of the shaft works to keep machine weight down to an easily manageable 2.8kg; their provision of a rubberised soft grip means you’ll have a firm, positive hold on the machine at all times.
