The super-efficient two-stroke air-cooled engine on the Maruyama HT237D Petrol Hedgetrimmer develops a hefty 1.03hp from a compact 22.5cc displacement, and powers a pair of fast working, double-sided and dual reciprocating blades, which have been induction hardened and chrome-plated for a fantastic finish with no discolouring plant damage.
The Maruyama HT237D Petrol Hedgetrimmer boasts a pro-duty gearbox, with the transmission mounted on ball-and-needle bearings for smooth, low-vibration operation, reduced component wear and a longer service life with reduced maintenance.
A capacious 0.4-litre tank works with the motor’s superior fuel economy to ensure interruptions to the task in hand will be few and far between; a 180° rotating rear handle makes executing what would otherwise be awkward cuts both comfortable and safe.
