This rechargeable lithium-ion battery-powered generator from Hyundai is a hugely versatile unit, which will enable you to charge and run any equipment – rated at 1000w or less – when camping, caravanning, rambling, angling, picnicking and more!

An easy-read digital display facilitates quick, at-a-glance checking of how much charge is remaining, and how much power is being used; overload protection means a sudden surge in demand will simply cause shutdown rather than catastrophic damage.

Hard to beat in terms of flexibility of use, the Hyundai HPS-600 provides a 12v DC socket, a DC cigarette-lighter port and four USB ports – pretty much any device can be hooked-up, from LED lamps, mini-fridges and air compressors, through to digital cameras, smartphones and tablets.

Hyundai’s provision of a two-pin 230v connection means you’ll also be able to run/charge European-spec devices.

The Hyundai HPS-600 is so compact, it can easily fit into a carry bag or rucksack. This, along with a machine weight of just 7.5kg, makes it supremely portable (a dedicated Hyundai shoulder bag is available separately).
