Driving its 18 hardwearing steel blades is a largest-in-class, 212cc air-cooled four-stroke motor developing a huge 5hp – that’s the sort of power output usually reserved for pricier, pro-spec petrol scarifiers. Thanks to its OHV design, you’ll find the engine quiet in operation, clean burning and cheap to run.
Flexible in use, the Feider FST200 PRO Petrol Lawn Scarifier has an eight-stage adjustable working-depth, which can be set high for gentle surface aeration, or low for thorough deep-level scarifying (adjustments are quick and easy to make using a handlebar-mounted lever).
Ball-bearing wheels confer free-rolling, low-effort manoeuvrability; Feider’s provision of a debris collector (45 litres) means a no-mess finish with no hand raking required.
Simple to transport and store, the 40cm Feider FST200 PRO has a collapsible fabric catcher and a practical fold-down handlebar.
