Driving the splitting-mechanism is a high-output 1500w motor that offers performance-levels equivalent to those of a 2hp petrol engine, but which produces no unpleasant fumes and requires no maintenance.
The Feider FBE-5TS 5-Ton Electric Log-Splitter comes with a stand that puts it at waist height so as to lessen the amount of uncomfortable, back-straining bending required.
It’s equipped with a lengthy 3.3m power-cord that provides plenty of unrestricted movement; and it benefits from a pair of sizeable 150mm wheels that ensure straightforward transport from shed to worksite.
Developing a hefty 5-tons of downward pressure, the Feider FBE-5TS splits the subject-log quickly and cleanly, leaving you with two uniform and easy-to-stack pieces that will readily burn.
This model takes logs up to 52cm in length, and up to 25cm in diameter.
