The Lawnflite LS83000EV Vertical Log-Splitter has an extremely powerful, 3000w electric motor, and employs a hydraulic ram to exert eight tonnes of pressure. It will split both softwoods and closed-grain hardwoods, such as cherry, maple and birch.

The base plate on the Lawnflite LS83000EV can be adjusted to three separate positions, depending on the size of logs you're chopping. In position one, the splitter can be used to cleave smaller logs up to a maximum length of 55cm. The maximum recommended log diameter for each of the three positions is 30cm.

The overall weight of the Lawnflite LS83000EV is just 55kg, making it more manoeuvrable than many other models in its class. It comes fitted with wheels and a transport handle, enabling it to be easily shifted from its place of storage to your area of work.

To ensure safe operation of the Lawnflite LS83000EV, your hands have to be holding onto the activation levers attached to the outer parts of each of the clamps that hold the log in place.

The levers are shielded from the splitting action, and the unit will only work when your hands are clear of any danger.
